WEST UNION — Mario Cesare Cunningham of Long Run Road (Greenwood Community) departed this life on Sunday, January 25, 2015, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on September 6, 1946, at Devil Hole, Ritchie County, a son of the late Chesley Clarence and Liliana Irene Centini Cunningham.
His wife, Sandra Kay Stutler Cunningham, survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Wendy Cox, Parkersburg; one son, Brian Cunningham, Brookville, MA; stepdaughters, Sheri Kennedy, Lost Creek, and Kimberly Hilliard, Clarksburg; stepson, Denny Owens, Bridgeport; sisters, Viviana Albrecht and husband Gregory, Glenville, PA, and Tina Moore and husband, Dwight, West Union; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cunningham worked for McClarin Plastics, Hanover, PA. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking and was an avid golfer. Mario attended Morgan’s Run U.B. Church.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Morgan’s Run Church, Morgan’s Run Road on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randy Plaugher officiating. The family will receive friends in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union, on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, from 4-8 p.m.
