PITTSBURGH — People Report, a Dallas-based human resource analytics company, and sister company Black Box Intelligence honored Eat’n Park restaurants with a 2012 Best Practices Award during a national conference held in Richardson, Texas.

Karen Bolden, chief People officer, Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, accepted the award in the Family segment on behalf of Eat’n Park restaurant team members. This marks the fourth straight year Eat’n Park restaurants has won the award.

Eat’n Park restaurants was one of only five companies across the country to receive the Best Practices Award, which is given annually to restaurants that show best people practices in relation to employee and manager retention, workforce diversity, compensation practices, community involvement, corporate responsibility, employee funds and foundations, and sustainable business practice initiatives. The criteria are quantitatively measured to ensure that the most deserving restaurant receives the honors.

Other winners of the 2012 Best Practices Award were White Castle, Longhorn Steakhouse, BJ’s Restaurants & Brewhouse, and La Madeleine. Winners are chosen by tracking, analyzing, and benchmarking human capital data with People Report.

In 2011, Eat’n Park won the Family/Casual Dining segment and, in 2007, People Report recognized Eat’n Park Hospitality Group’s then-chairman and CEO Jim Broadhurst with the Legacy Award for his leadership and commitment to the hospitality industry.
