CLARKSBURG — The Harrison County Street Crimes and Drug unit arrested several suspects Friday as part of investigations from this spring and summer involving heroin distribution.
Arrested were Pamela Jean Bailey, 43, of Stonewood, Heather Marie Burton, 34, of Stonewood, David Scott Thomas, 38, of Clarksburg, Davina Bland, 22, of Clarksburg, Mark Cole, 26, of Clarksburg.
Harrison Chief Deputy Jeff Deputy Jeff McAtee said the search continued for more individuals, including some from out of state.
Five members of the Street Crimes and Drug unit from Harrison County and one from Lewis County were involved in the roundup.
Harrison Chief Magistrate Frank DeMarco handled initial appearances and set bond at $25,000 per charge.
Burton was charged with delivery of heroin and conspiracy to deliver. Her crimes occurred May 28 in Quiet Dell, agents allege.
Bailey and Thomas were charged with conspiracy to deliver heroin.
Bland was charged with delivery of heroin and conspiracy to deliver, accused of wrongdoing July 7 in Clarksburg.
Cole was charged with delivery of percocet.
In a case that wasn’t part of the roundup, Dashawn Roman Holyfield, 21, of Clarksburg, was charged Friday by the Street Crimes and Drug unit with delivery of subutex.
Holyfield’s wrongdoing dates to Nov. 7, 2014, and occurred in the parking lot area of China One, 638 W. Pike St., Clarksburg, the criminal complaint alleges.
Holyfield’s bond was set at $25,000 by DeMarco.
The SCAD unit has additional drug-related felony arrest warrants for Tion “Fresh” Jones of Akron, Ohio, Shane Yeager of Lost Creek, and Nicholas Bowen of Clarksburg.
“Anyone with information on any of the individuals not apprehended Friday is encouraged to contact the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department at 304-623-6655, McAtee said.
Also:
— Alisha R. O’Dell, 24, of Clarksburg, pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate John S. Kaull to aiding and abetting distribution of heroin.
The magistrate permitted O’Dell’s release to jail into an inpatient addiction treatment program.
The defendant, accused of wrongdoing April 2, 2013, in Clarksburg, will be sentenced at a later date by U.S. District Judge Irene M. Keeley.
