WESTON — Nearly a dozen Lewis County residents were rounded up in a drug sweep Monday by the Sheriff’s Department, many of them yet to be arraigned by late afternoon.
One suspect remains at large, according to information from the Lewis County Magistrate Court.
Sheriff Adam Gissy has made it clear that drug dealers are a No. 1 priority, as have other law enforcement agencies in Lewis County.
Tracie Renaee Stalnaker, 41, of Weston, was charged with one felony and one misdemeanor count of delivery of a controlled substance, bath salts, and counterfeit bath salts, respectively.
Stalnaker was arrested by Lewis Sheriff’s Sgt. Michael Posey and arraigned by Magistrate Michael Gissy, who set bond at $75,000 cash.
Sheena Renae Gum, 20, of Weston, was arrested on criminal complaints by Sheriff’s Lt. David Parks on two felony charges of possession with intent to deliver Percocets.
Gissy set bond at $50,000 cash and $50,000 surety.
James H. Lipps II, 38, has been charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver Percocet, four heroin stamps and heroin by Parks.
A cash bond of $75,000, as well as a $75,000 surety bond was set by Gissy.
Randel Lynn McVay, 56, of Jane Lew, has been charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, imitation cocaine and cocaine, according to criminal complaints by Parks.
Gissy arraigned McVay and set a cash bond of $62,500 and $62,500 surety.
Randel Adam McVay, 27, of Jane Lew, has been charged with two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver marijuana by Parks.
Bond was set at $50,000 cash and $50,000 surety by Gissy.
Also slated to be arraigned Monday on possession with intent to deliver narcotics were:
n Elijah P. Hull, three counts, $75,000 cash and $75,000 surety.
n Mark C. Hamrick, two counts, $50,000 cash and $50,000 surety.
n Kenneth J. Romel, two counts, $50,000 cash and $50,000 surety.
n Autumn Sandy, three counts, $75,000 cash and $75,000 surety.
n Kevin Jenkins, two counts, $50,000 cash and $50,000 surety.
n William Joseph Posey, two counts, $50,000 cash and $50,000 surety.
A conviction for one count of delivery of a controlled substance carries a possible penalty of 1 to 15 years in prison and/or up to $25,000 fine.
