Feds: Doctor convicted of fraud owes seven-figure forfeiture

CLARKSBURG —  A Clarksburg dermatologist awaiting sentencing for 22 federal convictions should have to owe the government a seven-figure sum, an assistant U.S. attorney asserts.

Dr. Allen G. Saoud was convicted in June on 13 counts of health care fraud, one count of aggravated identity theft, one count of concealment of material facts in a health care matter, one count of obstructing the IRS, five counts of bankruptcy fraud and one count of making a false statement to the IRS.
