CLARKSBURG — About 100 Dominion workers, most from Clarksburg but some from Pittsburgh, will be transferred to corporate headquarters in Richmond, Va., a spokesman said Tuesday.
No jobs will be lost, said Chuck Penn, spokesman for Dominion in Clarksburg.
"Our hope is that all the affected employees being asked to transfer will be willing to relocate for the same positions at Richmond," Penn said.
The move is an "essential reorganization" that's necessary to remain competitive in "an extremely competitive environment," Penn said.
He added that Dominion remains committed to West Virginia.
We'll have more details in Wednesday's print and electronic editions.
