WESTON — The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department neutralized 14 meth labs with the arrest of a Weston man Tuesday night, Sheriff Adam Gissy said.
Shane Michael Jeffries, 20, was charged with operating a clandestine drug lab by Deputy R.E. Davis Jr.
Jeffries appeared before Magistrate Michael R. Gissy, who set bond at $50,000. The suspect was transported to the Central Regional Jail.
“The sheriff’s office, with the assistance of the Weston Police Department, neutralized 14 labs from a residence in Weston,” Gissy said. “One arrest was made and more are forthcoming.”
